Recruiting and retaining recruiters is a vital to the success of a recruitment firm, and Zena Everett of Perriam and Everett kicked off the proceedings in the free breakfast session on 'Winning the War for talent'. She warned the industry against 'micro-managing' recruitment consultants during tough times, when there is a temptation on the part of managers to heap on the pressure but forget to add value or new skills. One delegate commented: 'She had a really professional approach - an excellent image for recruitment to recruitment.'
