OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Basic salary to £80,000 plus commission and benefits - OTE £150k+
Our client, a well established, mid sized professional services recruiter, has over 80 staff in its London operation, with further staff in offices abraod including Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. Their focus is on key professional services sectors which include, Banking, Financial Services, Finance, Marketing, Property, Legal and Tax. The business places training, development and progression high on its list of priorities for attracting some of the best consultants in the market. They have a strong brand name, an entrepreneurial culture and are keen to be in a prime position within their core sectors. They have recently attracted some of the best talent in the industry and have recently put significant investment in to their infrastructure, systems and training.
The ideal person will have a strong recruitment background from the Banking Sector and should ideally have managed 10 + consultants previously with successful results. A proven track record of developing, growing and operating a successful strategy in line with the business needs is essential. You should be happy to lead from the front, work proactively, professionally, be confident in your ability, and able to draw the best from your teams. Listening to feedback and rewarding dedication and hard work. You'll need to be focussed, ambitious with the ability to lead from the front.
This is a fabulous opportunity to be part of the Senior Management Team. As Operations Director you will be responsible for the Senior Banking Permanent team which is currently at 14 consultants and develop and grow this to 25 by the end of the year. The key responsibility for the role is performance and growth. You will be responsible for the P&L and your remuneration will be based on profit as well as achievement of the annual budget. In conjunction with the Board you will set the strategy and direction for this area, although you be expected to take the lead. A superb opportunity to make your mark! HEAD OF FINANCIAL SERVICES IT INTERIM

Basic to £60k OTE £120k+, plus benefits
An established financial services IT contracts, permanent and executive search business is looking, through client demand, to buld an interims practice. You will work at programme director level with day rates starting at £1,000. You must have the desire to "get your hands dirty" and build from the bottom up. This is an opportunity to leverage existing client relationships and to grow a business beneath you. You must have experience of placing senior level IT contractors into investment banking, retail financial services and insurance. Client exposure will be at board and operating board level. This is a business with a lengthy and highly successful history in this sector so the ability to add weight to their offering is clear. Strong personal impact, commercial acumen and the ability to lead others are all required skills. The company has a mature environment, an account mangement style and invests heavily in its staff.
